Character is what you really are ALL THE TIME! Reputation is what others think you really are some of the time! What does God say about your character? God's view is ALWAYS different than people. His thoughts and ways are NOT like ours! We need to make sure that we lone up to His standards. We must posture ourselves to please God above all else. I am not only striving to hear "Well Done" when I get to heaven; I aspire to hear that while I am alive and yet remain...on this side!
Our character MUST reflect the "FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT!" Jesus made Himself no reputation, but was yet OBEDIENT, even unto the cross! Obedience should reflect our character. Everyone's got a need and we need to BE OBEDIENCE. OBEDIENCE IS THE 🔑 ! In closing, the great Coach John Wooden said, "Talent is God-given. Be humble. Fame is man-given. Be grateful. Conceit is self-given. Be careful."

We also need to remember not to think too highly of ourselves. Some seem to have forgotten that everything they have came from God. Everything we are and everything we're not is by God's grace and mercy. These material things that we tend to brag about or even worship came from God as well.
