The older we get, the more we know someone who passes away. Truly, time brings on a change and time us filled with swift transitions. Although the flesh is perishing, the Spirit is being renewed day-by-day. Those who are in Christ understand this concept, yet it is still difficult to pick up the pieces when a loved one transitions. We must remember that we are living this life to live again. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is the same Spirit that will quicken our mortal bodies and raise us from the dead. Because Jesus is the Resurrection, we will be resurrected with Him. Build your hopes on things eternal by holding onto God's unchanging hand!

1 Peter 5:10: After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be].
Suffering is a part of this Christian walk. No one can escape suffering. Scriptures communicates that Jesus learned obedience from the things He suffered. Like Jesus, must endure to the end and hardness as a good soldier. Suffering produces humility, structure, discipline, perseverance, long-suffering, and the fruit of the Spirit! Don't escape the fiery furnace of trials. Remember, those that endure to the end shall be saved!
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9, NIV)
We must learn to always be thankful. Whatever state we are in, we must be content in whatever state we are in. One of the things that grieves the Holy Spirit is murmuring and complaining. God opened up the ground and swallowed the people perished because of it. What has opened up and swallowed you up because of complaining?
Thanksgiving is being appreciative despite of favorable circumstances. That is why it is called a SACRIFICE of praise! Praise and thanksgiving is worshipping the Lord! Praise confuses the camp of the enemy! The enemy desire is to for us to give him a legal right to hold our murmuring and complaining against us in the Courts of Heaven! We must replace our complaining with thanksgiving! I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth (Psalms 34:1)!
In closing, the songwriter said, "No matter who or what we are, we must praise!" Praise and thanksgiving is worshipping God. Our God is greater than what we are going through! Thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord!
Let all things be done decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40)
We must realize the importance of what we speak with our mouths. We must put a guard over our tongues to ensure that we are not rash with our words. We can create or destroy, become construction workers or demolition workers, speak life or proclaim death.
The police understand this when they arrest you when reading your Miranda Rights, "Anything that you say will be held against you in the court of law." The same applies in the spirit realm, "Anything that we speak will be held against us in the Courts of Heaven or in the pits of hell!"
Our words can bless us or curse us. We can bless our ourselves by building a godly memorial or build an evil altar with our words. Words create legal rights for heaven to move or for hell to move. Sweet and bitter words should not come out of the same fountain and blessings and curses should not come out of the same mouth. We bless our Creator, yet 🤬 out His creation (James 3)!
In closing, a man/woman who is in control, is under control of the Holy Spirit. Remember, loose lips sink ships!
We live in a world that celebrates big moments — promotions, milestones, and major wins. And while those are worth celebrating, they aren’t where most of life happens.
Life unfolds in the quiet. In the in-between. In the ordinary moments we often rush past.
And within those moments are the blessings we tend to overlook.
Redefining What a Blessing Looks Like
Blessings aren’t always life-changing events. Sometimes, they’re simple:
- Waking up to a new day
- A deep breath in a stressful moment
- A kind message from someone you love
- A meal on the table
- The strength to get through the day
These may seem small, but they are meaningful. Without them, the big moments wouldn’t have a foundation.
Gratitude in Imperfect Moments
Counting blessings doesn’t mean ignoring challenges. It simply means recognizing that even during hard times, there is still something to appreciate.
Some days, gratitude comes easily. Other days, it feels harder to find. But even then, there is always something — even if it’s just the fact that you kept going.
Gratitude doesn’t require perfection. It requires awareness.
The Power of Slowing Down
We often miss blessings because we’re moving too fast. Rushing from one task to the next keeps us from fully experiencing the present moment.
But blessings live in the now.
They appear when you pause long enough to notice:
- The warmth of sunlight
- The sound of laughter
- A quiet moment to breathe
Slowing down doesn’t mean falling behind. It means becoming present.
A Shift in Perspective
Counting small blessings is about perspective. It’s choosing to notice what is going right, even when everything isn’t.
Life is a mix of challenges and beauty. When you begin to focus on the small good moments, your experience begins to shift. You feel more grounded, more peaceful, and more aware of what truly matters.
Start Counting
You don’t need a perfect life to feel grateful.
Right now, there are blessings around you — in your breath, your strength, and your ability to keep going.
So pause.
Look around. Take a breath. Notice something small.
And count it.
Because when you begin to count the small blessings, you’ll realize your life holds more goodness than you thought
If we are in a human relationship, the litmus test to loving someone is how we honor them. We do everything humanly possible to please them and to refrain from hurting them despite them not being good for us. We demonstrate our love through time, listening to them, and respecting them.
How much more should we treat our Heavenly Father who made us in His image and likeness? Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15). This is the spiritual litmus test to demonstrate our love and respect for Christ.
When Abraham took Isaac and was about to sacrifice him, the angel communicated, Don’t lay a hand on the boy!” the angel said. “Do not hurt him in any way, for now I know that you truly fear God. You have not withheld from me even your son, your only son” (Genesis 22:12). Because we love Christ, we honor Him through our obedience, respect, and how we treat others! The world 🌎 will know us by our love for one another! We have not seen God at anytime, yet disrespect His creation called people everyday because of how we treat them!
In closing, if we love God we not only love Him, but also His creation! We demonstrate honor through our obedience, respect, and love towards Him. If we love God, let us strive to keep His commandments: loving Him with all our heart, mind, and strength, and loving our neighbor as ourself!
Jesus died on an old rugged cross for the sins of the world. He was buried for three days in the heart of the earth. He is ARISEN from the dead with ALL power in His hand! Happy Resurrection Sunday! Why are we looking for the dead amongst the living? Because Jesus lives, we can face not only tomorrow, but everyday!
Whatever has died, flatlined, and pronounced no pulse, has just been resurrected? Hallelujah! What is it that you need to be resurrected? Maybe it's your health, relationship, finances, business, mindset, hope, dreams, or will to live, because Jesus rose again, so shall you! Not in the sweet bye and bye or one sweet day, but NOW! Don't throw in the towel, don't count yourself out, and don't allow others to count you out!
Welcome to your resurrection! Welcome to your new life! Whatever is dead has life! Because Jesus died, we are alive in Christ! Here to your RESURRECTION!
Thanksgiving is an act of worship unto the Lord. Thanksgiving focuses on who God is and all HIS majesty. It is easy to complain and place blame, especially when things in your life are not as you think they should be. Thanksgiving places a wall of fire around you because it confuses the enemy.
Thanksgiving reveals the heart of a person. Think of all the times when God delviered you out of the lion's mouth; think of when the bullet should've hit you; think of how God protected you from yourself! Instead of counting sheep, count how many ways you are thankful! Many serve God for what He can give them and not for what we can give Him.
Sometimes, parents just want their children to show their appreciation towards them without the children asking them for tangible material. God wants us to thank Him for who He is and not for what we can get out of Him. God is NOT a genie in a bottle! When was the last time you thanked God without making a request? If we don't want to be used, them we should treat God the same way. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name (Psalms 100:4).
In closing, remember, thanksgivng is an act of worship. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24).
As we celebrate Women's Month, thank you for God's gift to a man, not for just an occasion, but for everyday! Women are extraordinary and Christ loved women. It was a woman who carried the Word (Jesus). It was a woman who funded the gospel (Lydia); it was a woman who mentored Paul (Priscilla); a woman who washed the feet of Jesus; women who Paul instructed to help in the Gospel (Tryphosa and Tryphena: Acts 16), women who served Jesus, woman who was a Judge (Deborah), a woman who is a crown on the head of her husband. (Proverbs 12:4), and woman at the tomb of Jesus when He was Resurrected, and a Virtuous Woman (Proverbs 31:1-31: Dr. Fuller and Dr. Ling! Give her the praise and the honor that she is due!
The way that we live either honors God or the kingdom of darkness. Our lips can praise God yet our heart dishonors Him. Our lifestyle is worshipping the kingdom of light or the kingdom of darkness. Many will will in that day, "Lord, I casted out demons, had a ministry, preached, prophesied, and yet the Lord will say, "I never knew you!" If the righteous barely make it in, where will the ungodly appear.
We must be about our Father's business by doing His will! The first 5 commandments deal with man's relationship with His Creator and the commandments six through ten deals with man's relationship with how he treats others! We must walk in obedience, forgiveness, and in love. If we love God, we will keep His commandments!
Obeying what the Lord says should not grieve us because we desire to please Him! In closing, love God, love our neighbor, and do His will! Let's be about our Father's business!
Joshua 1: 9: Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Not only does it take faith, it takes strength and courage. Just as God was commanding Joshua, He is commanding us to be strong, of good courage, do not be afraid, and do not be discouraged. Because of the presence of God, He is is with us. The Holy Spirit is the seal on all believers to let us know that God is with us. God is saying, "I AM with you!" He is commanding us to:
1. Be strong: to strengthen, prevail, harden, be strong, become strong, be courageous, be firm, grow firm, be resolute
2. Of good Courage: to be brave, bold
3. Do not be afraid: to tremble, dread, fear, oppress, prevail, break, be terrified, cause to tremble
4. Dismayed: state of intense disappointment, shock, or anxiety, typically caused by unexpected, unpleasant news or situations.
5. with: besides, towards
When God is with us, He endorses us with His presence! God is with us!
Mark 16:17-18
Verse of the Day:
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
We have many thirsts in this life and we enjoy our favorite beverages as a result of that thirsts. Many companies spend millions of dollars for the 30 second commercial in the Super Bowl to get you to purchase their beverage. Because of the exceptional marketing, we make haste and purchase the beverage, not knowing of we will enjoy it or not.
Although we consume our beverages, we come to find that it only quenches our thirst momentarily. Jesus said that if we drink His water, we will never thirst against. Only Jesus has the water is pure, with no preservatives, however it will fill our reservoirs completely! We will NEVER thirst again (John 4:14)! Jesus encourages us to drink from His fountain of truth. Our souls has a void that can only be filled and quenched by the living water. If you are tired of of temporary fix, o taste and see that the Lord is good and only He can quenched our thirsts! This is no Sprite commercial, however, it is long overdue to obey our thirst. It's time to drink from the Day Spring!
