The highest form of love is correction. Who God loves, He chastens, corrects, and disciplines. Correction is for protection and keeps you from danger. Though correction is not pleasurable at the time of correction, it yields the peaceable fruit of God. It develops humility, peace, and joy. When God corrects us, He is demonstrating His love towards us. When a person corrects or warns us, they are demonstrating the love of Christ!
