Many times, we feel like the Lord is dull of hearing. We believe that He is not hearing us. We also believe that the hand of the Lord is too short to reach us. Although this is not true, we fail to realize that our iniquities has caused these calamities in our lives. Sin disconnects us from our connection, it shortens our reach to God and not the other way around. Because God us holy and no sin glories in His presence, He hides His face from us. Sin not only causes our hearts to be defiled, but also our hands. As evidence of our sin, we don't know what to pray.
Since our iniquities cause us to become unjust, we fail to pray for justice! Our verdict is guilty and our iniquities have stained our hands with the blood of sin. Sin has caused our words to become poisonous like the viper and has duplicated itself the the reproduction of hatching eggs. Our ways has led us to get trapped in the web of 🕷s. Our evil will not produce garments to cover our iniquities. The web that created silk to be used as garments of praise, will now be used as uncomfortable raiment if burlap and sackcloth because we need to repent.
However, when we confess our sins unto God, the answering machine of heaven will once again open to our prayers. God's ears will become unstopped and He will reach will pull us out of our den of iniquity. All of our guilty charges will be thrown out. Our lies will turn into truth, our hardened hearts will become that of flesh, the dimness of our eyes will turn into keen eagle eyes, and our darkness will turn into marvelous light!
The Redeemer called Jesus has now placed His blood on the mercy seat and has declared us "not guilty!" We are made holy because of His righteousness. The Spirit of the Lord is the standard to overpower the tsunami of the flood brought on by Satan. The redemption power of Jesus will provoke us to sing a new song, and His work shall not depart from out mouth. His praise shall continually be in our mouths. Our Redeemer lives in Zion and every cockatrice egg is annihilated and the enemy's head has been crushed! Hallelujah!

The majority of the time when we can't hear or feel God's presence, the shortcomings is on our end.
We must learn to hear from God and be a doer of His word. But it starts with Repentance.
Thankyou for following instructions and completing the assignment.
You're welcome
Faith transforms! Often, it is our own misdeeds that curtail communion with God. We need to repent and turn from our wicked ways, humble ourselves and pray. God will hear our hearts and we will hear His. The stone of guilt has been rolled back. We just have to see the path that is before us, acknowledge it, walk in agreement, and stay the course.
Well said!
My former pastors prayer was, "turn the people from the power of sin to the power of God!"
When I read your words Dr. Lingeela my heart said turn me from the power of satan to the power of God!
Thank you for reminding us to change for the good.
Thank you. You're welcome
Amen Dr Johnson you have a way with words. Your words make me connect and relate in real life situations and appreciate all that you do .
Thank you and for all you do. Looking forward to getting your book!
Dr. Lingeela, I can recall a time in my life when I felt like God did not hear me and my prayer wasn't being heard. I cried because I felt that my prayers didn't reach heaven. I thank God my eyes came open and I realized that what I prayed for was right before me. A lot of times it's about our timing and submission to the will of the Father. Thank you for sharing.
