"Laugh, Love, Live"

Oftentimes, we fail to realize or even fathom that Jesus walked the earth in a physical body. Although He was Yah in the flesh, He experienced fleshly things. His flesh was not omnipotent; He was subject to time and space. He experienced every human emotions possible, yet obtained mastery over them. Because of His example, we can do the same...in Him! Jesus walked, slept when He was tired in the bottom of the boat, had dinner and hung out with friends (Mary, Martha, and Lazarus), got angry in the temple with the money changers, worshipped in church (synogogue), went to a fish fry, etc. Jesus lives an ABUNDANT LIFE! More importantly, LOVE loved!

The man who I served under said it best: " It's not that people cannot handle your anointing, they can't handle your commonality! Yes, I like women, yes I like basketball, yes I laugh, yes I listen to music, yes I like to dress nice, etc. All natural things are not devilish, however, although all things may be lawful, they are not beneficial to participate or engage in! The Holy Spirit is within us to provide healthy boundaries while having a natural experience! I learned in Grief Counseling: "Experience the experience when the experience is experienced!" In other words, when you laugh, love, and live, you will enjoy your life!

  • Thanks for the reminder that being human and having common experiences doesn't diminish our spiritual connection or anointing. The idea of experiencing life fully while maintaining healthy boundaries with the guidance of the Holy Spirit is a valuable lesson. Indeed, it's in embracing life with joy, love, and authenticity that we find the true abundance that Jesus exemplified.

    • I love how Dr. Lingeela breaks everything down. And I do love how you do the same Tiffany.
It is okay for the people of God to have a good normal life enjoying ourselves without it taking away from our relationship with God. We should always let God be our guide but not so heavenly minded that we are no earthly good.

  • Amen! You make everything seem so practical. Your words Dr. Lingeela cause an immediate visual and you help but understand and relate to what you are saying. Thank you again for this much needed word. It's ok to live a Godly loving life. It's time let go of the traumatic experiences and allow God to give you a peaceful loving life.
