Exposure is good if you love liberty. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty? A man who covers his sins shall not prosper. Adam and Eve put on fig leaves to hide because they sinned in the Garden of Eden. We put on fig leaves and hide when we miss the mark. Our fig leaves are: make-up, rationalizing, lies, gossip, comparison, pride, etc. If you confess our sins, He is just to forgive you, and cleanse us from unrighteousness.
If God knows everything, is everywhere at the same time, then who or what are we hiding from Him? We hide shame and guilt. What's the difference? Shame is associated with the person and guilt is associated with the action. Exposure causes healing from the inside out, removes the stinch called pride, remove guilt, shame, hurt, and defeat! The enemy loves your figs leaves and you hiding. Satan loves darkness. Men love darkness because they don't want to come to the light because their deeds will be exposed. Men who come to the light want to expose their deeds.
In closing, if you blew it, admit it; if you owe an apology, render one! We must reveal to heal. If you are not prospering, could it be that your wardrobe are fig leaves! Remove your fig leaves and put on the whole armor! Wear the garment of praise and humility. Exposure is Light Therapy. When you expose, God won't have to ask, "Where are thou?"

In order to move past fear or removal of the fig leaves is to rest in the words of Jesus in John 14:6- I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (NIV)
Amen. In attempting to disguise ourselves and seem perfect before others, we ultimately hide from our true selves and who God created us to be, even in our sin and iniquities. He knew what we did and knows already what we will do. We must be honest, truthful, repent and change our minds to the mind of Christ, stay in His presence, and maintain a righteous walk.

Satan doesn't like to be exposed. Spiritual Warfare is the act of recognizing the strategies of the enemy, refusing to coorperate with him, and cut him off. Never allow him to feed into your spirit like he did Eve. Once the door is opening he will push his way through the door and take charge of your life. Jesus said to resist the devil and he will flee from you. My question is how many people are willing to remove their fig leaves? Are you ready for a new wardobe that will give you the weapons to fight off th enemy? Yes I love my freedom. I am here to serve notice to the devil that he is already defeated. One of my favorite movies is Jim Carey's the mask. I love that movie. Jim finds an ancient mask and it gives him super powers. He's able to do pretty much do anything he wants except to be his authentic self. Many of us are just like Jim. We are hiding behind our leaves like Dr. Johnson mention. We are not being our authentic self because we are trying to cover up shame, regret, bitterness and hurt. God wants us something to come to him, all who are weighed down. Because if God's Grace we don't have to hide. We are covered by his Grace and that's the only mask we need.
Another great message. When reading this I thought about when you have a wound. Some wounds need to wrapped for a certain time period and then the doctor says it needs air- exposure to heal. It's time to expose our wounds so that the healing process can occur.
Yes, Natasha. It's time to uncover the wounds and begin the healing process. Rather it's in marriages,work place, or friendship. Open up and let God in.
