If running away from our problems a race that we'll never win, then why do we continue to run? Are we aware that we are running? If God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind, then where is the fear coming from? If every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord, then we know that the gift of fear did NOT come from the Lord! The gift of fear is a demonic gift that is only given by Satan! His mission statement is to steal, kill, and destroy. Fear is a thief and it steals our peace, it kills our courage, and destroys our destiny.
We must realize that fear is a spirit and we must trace it back to its origin. If we are to be effective in the Kingdom of God, we must annihilate fear from our lives. If we are to be effective for the Lord, fear has to be an enemy to us. Fear has paralyzed and stopped so many from achieving greatness. The graveyard is filled with people who never took a leap of faith, who had cures for diseases, who never opened their businesses, and who allowed fear to stop their destiny! Cowards shall have their place in the lake of fire 🔥 (Revelations 21:8).
Courage is the opposite of fear and those who possess the Holy Ghost, should not fear. The Holy Ghost is bold like a lion and and Christ is called the Lion of Judah! We must be tenacious in our efforts to overcome fear, not come into covenant with fear, and aggressively deal with it! I challenge us to reject fear and accept the perfect love that drives out the torment of fear! Receive the agape love of Christ to drive away what has come to steal, kill, and destroy you!
On Monday, January 15th, I was looking for some items that I purchased in November 2023. However, there was one problem; I forgot where I place them. I went to the lengths of calling my friend to inquire did he have it in his possession. He replied, "No." I commenced to looking frantically all over the house, garage, closets, etc. I thought about the parable of the lost coin where the lady searched frantically for her lost coin.
The first thing I did was pray and ask for God to help me find my items. I specifically said, "Holy Ghost, please show me where I put it at?" I started to look for it. I still couldn't find it and I had to repent because of my words! Shortly thereafter, I started looking in the closet AGAIN, and found it! I was excited! Here are the steps I took: 1.) I prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to help me find it; (Direction, order my steps) 2.) I turned on the lights in each room to search for it (revelation: spiritual enlightenment through the light of truth); 3.) After I found it, I thanked Him for allowing me to find the items.
After I found it, I also found my two pairs of gloves that I could not find either! As I was leaving the house, the Holy Spirit said @ 11:47 am (1/15/24), "I'll cause you to FIND what you are not LOOKING for!" This is an example of the Word is made flesh in your life!
Although we have reached a new year, many people still remain the same. We make new year's resolutions and by the end of February, we go back to our old selfish hobbies and sinful habits. Until we have a change of mind, we will continue to deceive ourselves. The worse deception is self-deception! Don't deceive yourself again by lying to yourself....AGAIN!
What will we do differently in the new year? What goals will we accomplish that we didn't last year? We should start with taking a self-inventory of responsibility for our actions. I believe that is called repentance. God cannot help us, comfort us, or deliver us, if we cover our sins. Those that cover their sins shall not prosper. Those that want to change come into the light because they want their deeds exposed! Those that do not want their deeds exposed remain in darkness!
Which category do you fall in? There should be some classes that we don’t have to repeat because the consequences costs us more than we were willing to pay! We cannot embrace a new year with the same mindset, conversation, and behavior. What changes are you going to make this year? In closing, remember, we cannot do a new thing in an old way! Happy New Year

Don't let nobody fool you...EVERYBODY is in either in RECOVERY or RECOVERING from something! Our substance may not be alcohol or drugs, but it's something. That something does not discriminate, is not racist, or prejudiced, but that something is like the grave...it takes everybody! Our lives are filled with substances that we are abusing, dependent upon, or addicted to! That substance is called SIN! Christ has come to abuse what has been abusing us; Christ has come to sever what we have been depending on as an idol; and Christ has come to break every addiction that we cannot leave alone!
The blood of Jesus washes away EVERYTHING that we're holding on to, and what's been holding on to us! Our new substance that gives us POWER is the Holy Ghost! We overcome those substances by the word of our testimony and the blood of the Lamb! In closing, our graduation theme in the Body of Christ be "Freedom From Substance, Graduating From Recovery to Deliverance!"
The most successful relationship is the one that you have with yourself. If you are the best version of yourself, you can add more value to the other person that you are in a friendship with, as a co-worker, as clergy, and as a spouse. You rob the people of receiving someone who is healthy, whole, and well. Trauma causes subtraction and division; wellness causes addition and multiplication! We don’t have to be perfect, however let’s strive for mastery. If you do not enjoy your own company, why would others enjoy it! If self-care is the BEST care, then why don’t you care about yourself?
An unhealed person can become a menace to society to any circle that they are present in. Do not allow marriage to be a cover-up to what you’re covering up! We’ve often heard the saying, treat others the way you want to be treated, however, I don’t know how you were treated in your past! If we don’t answer the right questions, then we shall get the wrong reaction from the other party! Effective communication starts with identifying your emotions through verbalization. Perhaps the medroom is a answer for what the bedroom cannot fix.
Let us not devour one another as a means of communication. Season your words with salt and not with guile. Do not become critical, condescending, judgemental, and religious in your worldview towards the other party. Sometimes, effective communication is SILENCE! FAITH PLUS THE WORKS of you sitting on the couch for counseling can assist you in not only understanding your trauma, but overcoming it! Openness and the right attitude will help you overcome the drama of your T.R.A.U.M.A!
The T.R.A.U.M.A of TRIBULATION can stunt our growth and places our lives in D, R, N or P. DRIVE is to move forward in life. We are reminded to press towards the mark of the higher calling and to forget those things that are behind us (Phillipians 3:14). REVERSE means to revert back to our old thoughts, people, places, things, situations, habits, and behaviors. If we put our hands to the plow and look back, we are not fit for the Kingdom (Luke 9:62). NEUTRAL symbolizes that you are unsure if you want to change. You are neither hot, nor cold, but lukewarm (Revelations 3:16). Jesus spits us out of His mouth! You know what to do, but fail to do it! PARK represents waiting on the Lord with courage so that the Lord can strengthen our heart (Psalms 27:14)!
We must deal with life on life terms. We must not be afraid to ask and seek the help that we need and deserve to reach our full potential. Use your voice as a Cange Agent, as an Advocate, as an Influencer. Sometimes, the worst fears are what we believe about ourselves! When you can overcome yourself, you can change the world. Start with the one whose reflection is looking back at you in the mirror. Asking, Seeking, and Knocking to receive help is spiritual and not religious.
You are a strong person to know that your weakness can destroy you. Jesus said, "My STRENGTH is made PERFECT in YOUR WEAKNESS!" Let the weak, say I'm STRONG. The glory of God can rest upon you much stronger, much sooner, if you know your limitations. Knowing your limitations can keep not only you from sinking, but others too! When you know that you need Christ you are strong, because you are weak without Him! I am strong enough to know I am weak, yet weak enough to know I am strong!
When you name something, that means you have authority over it. Until a person is aware that they have a problem, they cannot specifically name the problem in order to solve it! Awareness is known consciousness and no change will ever occur, unless we are conscious about our challenges. Confession and faith not makes it known to Him and allows the Lord the legal right to operate. Pride covers and confession exposes. Pride cometh before destruction, and a hearty spirit before the fall! God hates pride because it is the root to many of our problems. For examples, have you ever struggles admitting that you were wrong? What about apologizing? What about I don't need any help or your help? 1 John 1:9 communicates, "If you confess your sins, He is just to forgive you and cleanse you of unrighteousness. God cannot forgive and cleanse until you confess! Remember, name your problem (confess), repent, forgive, and receive in Jesus name!
I’m sitting in one of my spots, that the Lord God speaks to me. As I’m sitting here, the Lord reminds me, how I’ve seen some people working out, and then there would be others that would leave their station, to start a conversation with the one who continues to workout. Now here’s the issue. While the other individual in consistently working at their station, the other person has stopped, to see what the other individual has going on! Come on here!
Instead of remaining at their station, they wanted to be nosey!! By being nosey, they’re missing out on their gain!! I said, “by being NOSEY, they’re missing out on their GAIN!! Can I say this? We have some nosey saints! Nosey church folk!! If you’re over at someone else’s station, how can you get your gain, that’s going to come from your designated station!! I wish I had a witness!! Stop being NOSEY! Stop being ENVIOUS!! Listen, there’s “GAIN”, at your station as well!! Hallelujah!!! #curriethecrosschurch #KingdomAmbassador #IsThisMicOn
John 21
21 Peter asked Jesus, “What about him, Lord?”
22 Jesus replied, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? As for you, follow me.”
Isaiah 43
26 Let us review the situation together, and you can present your case to prove your innocence.
There will be evidence presented on your behalf.
Acquitted: Free
Condemned: sentenced to a particular punishment,
In a courtroom atmosphere, you have the Judge, Defendant, Prosecutor, Defense Attorney, and the evidence. The evidence is the main piece to the trial. The evidence held against you, will determine the outcome. This will determine if you are acquitted or condemned. Come on here! The evidence, that’s presented on your behalf, will determine if you will be acquitted or condemned! How many of us are aware that, there will be evidence, used to give the verdict? Let’s turn to the book of Matthew 7. We are going to focus on verses 21 thru 23.
Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.
Matthew 7:22 On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’
Matthew 7:23 But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’
In these passages we are shown how the defendants attempted to plead their case, with words. Who caught that? They we’re trying to plead their case, without any hard evidence, supporting their plea. The evidence that we are all building, will determine if we hear, “job well done or depart from me”. What type of evidence are you building? While we are in these tents, we are building our case. Blessings!
Oftentimes, we fail to realize or even fathom that Jesus walked the earth in a physical body. Although He was Yah in the flesh, He experienced fleshly things. His flesh was not omnipotent; He was subject to time and space. He experienced every human emotions possible, yet obtained mastery over them. Because of His example, we can do the same...in Him! Jesus walked, slept when He was tired in the bottom of the boat, had dinner and hung out with friends (Mary, Martha, and Lazarus), got angry in the temple with the money changers, worshipped in church (synogogue), went to a fish fry, etc. Jesus lives an ABUNDANT LIFE! More importantly, LOVE loved!
The man who I served under said it best: " It's not that people cannot handle your anointing, they can't handle your commonality! Yes, I like women, yes I like basketball, yes I laugh, yes I listen to music, yes I like to dress nice, etc. All natural things are not devilish, however, although all things may be lawful, they are not beneficial to participate or engage in! The Holy Spirit is within us to provide healthy boundaries while having a natural experience! I learned in Grief Counseling: "Experience the experience when the experience is experienced!" In other words, when you laugh, love, and live, you will enjoy your life!
In this season, God may expose things in your life be it the past or in the present that continues to haunt and hurt you. No this is not the devil. Instead of repressing and suppression, allow it to surface and deal with emotions surrounding the T.R.A.U.M.A! There is a difference between being SILENT versus becoming SILENCED! Silent is a temporary moment of quiet introspection, self-reflection in order to comprise progressive strategies to find solutions to move forward. Silent is a form of self-care.
On the other hand, SILENCED means to lose your voice, witness, and testimony. The objective is to become mute so that you will implode to destroy yourself. A nervous breakdown is brain overload that can provoke us to internalize, compromise, and in extreme cases, suicide! We must tear down our alter of T.R.A.U.M.A to prevent us from creating a memorial. We have enshrined our T.R.A.U.M.A and turned it into an idol of worship! Let us ANNIHILATE the shrine and build an alter where Jesus is erected. Jesus Saud, "If I be lifted up, I'll draw ALL men unto me! In faith, we have the responsibility to do the lifting, If we lift, then Jesus will sift!
That caller id is something else. I mean it gives you the ability to know, who’s calling you, before you pick up the call. The only way to get tricked is, if you do not have, that caller id option. With this feature, you have the ability to deny or accept, who and what you allow into your ear gates. See, discernment is that spiritual caller id. It allows you to know what and who is trying to get into the gates! Sadly, many of us do not have this option, due to the fact of who, we have as a provider! Come on here! As the Lord God, being our provider, He gives us the package, that comes with discernment. Listen, stop letting any and everyone have access to you! Before you run to everyone’s beck and call, check that caller id (Discernment)! Blessings!
Some of us have been been in trauma for so long that we become nervous when there is no chaos! We have been born in and indoctrinated in trauma that when peace knocks on our door, we don’t and won’t answer. Jesus is the trauma breaker and when He knocks at our door, let Him in. He wants to come in and clean our "House of T.R.A.U.M.A and without leaving any residue. His cleaning is not abrasive, nor will it creat any more chaos. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. I will gladly trade in my hard yoke and heavy burden.
We are grieving the loss of our trauma when we should be joyous in releasing it. Trauma is a thief because it steals our identity and prevents us from knowing who we are. We must learn to not grieve over what has tried to destroy us and find peace in releasing it! Open the door to peace by releasing your T.R.A.U.M.A!
