"Do The Math"

1. Faith -Works = Dead

2. Faith+Works= Results

3. Pray like it depends on God+ Work like it depends on you

4. Walk by Faith+Work by Formula

It takes F.A.I.T.H (For All I Take Him) to please God and guts to believe Him. Against ALL hope, Abraham believed God and it was accounted him righteous! God calls us righteous when we simply believe Him! It's funny that we believe liars and struggle when believing someone who cannot lie! Due to His character and nature, God will not and cannot lie!

It takes works, effort to obtain the necessary result of what you are believing God for. If we believe, we put the corresponding actions to confirm our beliefs. We must continue until we yield the necessary results or the manifestation of what we are believing. Our responsibility is to believe and work. We must give God something to work with. If we do our math, work is always added with faith. Let us do all we can to please God: believe Him and have faith!

1. What is your definition of wholeness? Healed, restored, peaceful, and harmonious in your relationship with God

2. What areas would you like to be made whole in?: Spiritually, Physically, Emotionally, Mentally, Relationally, Environmentally

3. What is stopping you from becoming whole?

4. What steps are you taking in your walk to become healthy, whole, and well?

We need the right motivation and mindset to become whole. Jesus used confrontational when approaching some? His simple question reach the core of their being by asking them a closed question: a question that required a yes or no answer. Many of us want to made whole but do not know where to start. We can start by making a conscious decision to be made whole and the only one to make us whole is Jesus Christ. We need the power of the Holy Spirit working in us to carry it out in the earth and occupy or to be about out Father's business until He comes. Jesus says, "Without me, you can do nothing." We must be connected to Jesus and more importantly,  He must be connected to us to do everything and to be made healthy, well, and whole!

Finding God in Grief

Grief is something we all face. Whether it’s the death of someone we love, the end of a relationship, or even the loss of stability, we feel it deep. It’s the kind of ache that shows up when words fail and only tears speak. Even in the Bible, grief is real and raw. Remember Mary and Martha when their brother Lazarus died? They wept. They questioned. They hurt. Even Jesus,God in the flesh wept with them (John 11:35). He didn’t rush them. He didn’t shame their pain. He entered it. That short verse, “Jesus wept,” reminds us that God feels our sorrow. He doesn’t just stand at a distance; He steps into our pain.

Grief doesn’t mean you’ve lost faith it means you’re human. It’s okay to miss them, to cry, to ask God “why?” But also know this: just like Jesus called Lazarus out of the tomb, He can call you out of your dark place too. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day, healing will come. Your tears are not wasted. Psalm 56:8 says God bottles every one. That means your grief is seen, your pain is heard, and your healing is promised. You’re not alone. Even in loss especially in loss, God is with you.

They’ve covered the wound with ministry activity, with titles, and with outward boldness, but inside, there is unprocessed pain, trauma, betrayal, insecurities, disappointment, and grief. The truth is, a band-aid doesn’t mean it’s healing it only covers what hasn’t been dealt with. And eventually, what’s hidden will leak.

“They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. ‘Peace, peace,’ they say, when there is no peace.” — Jeremiah 6:14 (NIV)

Trauma doesn’t just affect the mind it alters identity, decision-making, and spiritual clarity. It teaches people to survive instead of thrive. Many leaders are operating from trauma-trained reflexes, not Spirit-led responses. And until we confront what broke us, we’ll keep bleeding into everything we’re building churches, relationships, sermons, and souls entrusted to us.

Even Elijah, a mighty prophet, collapsed emotionally after a powerful public display of God’s fire. He ran, sat under a tree, and begged to die (1 Kings 19). God didn’t scold him. He let him rest, eat, and be restored. God ministered to Elijah the man before He released Elijah the prophet again.

So my question is this:

How can you truly help someone else heal… when you are the one still needing healing?

God isn’t calling for performing leaders, but whole ones. There’s no shame in sitting down. Sometimes healing is the most spiritual act of obedience.

Let God bind you before you try to build others.

Journey Back to Wholeness

Grief and trauma can feel like heavy chains that bind the soul, making it hard to see beyond the pain. Yet, Scripture reminds us in Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Even David, a man after God’s own heart, experienced deep sorrow but found strength in God’s presence. Like David, I’ve faced moments where grief threatened to define me. But I learned that pain does not have to become our identity. Through faith, prayer, and God’s unfailing love, healing begins. Our scars tell a story of survival, but God calls us to walk in restoration and hope, not in bondage to our past.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY

It is very important that we take the time to reflect and render Thanksgiving to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. True Thanksgiving should be everyday that we are afforded the chance to repent for our sins. Repentance is truly the grace and mercy of God. Grace gives us what we don't deserve;.mercy does not give us what we do deserve! We should not allow the calender to dictate when we should be thankful,  demonstrate love, concern, care for our neighbor, or any fruit of the Spirit. In closing, take the time and opportunity to celebrate everyday because indeed, everyday is Thanksgiving day!

Mandated Storms

The Mandated Storms

Who is ready to get out of that storm?

“Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The great commission happened after the resurrection. The great commission was when Jesus sent the 12 disciples out, to spread the gospel! The disciples became Apostles, after their 1 1/2 year training! Listen, before they were able to teach, they had to be prepped! The Apostles went through mandated storms before they were sent out.

Every storm is to prep us to be used! Every trial, is to prep us to be used! After every storm, our teaching certificate is issued! After every storm, we are strengthened! After every storm, we become more knowledgeable! Listen, I’m talking about the required storms. The mandated storms!

Ability to Do All Things

The Apostle Paul was human just like you and me. One reason he was able to accomplish so much, he did not under estimate the ability of God inside of him. He did not boast of his own strength and power, but he boasted of God's ability. He realized that true humility means total dependance upon God for everything. He believed every Word of God revealed to him. He was able to say, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Phillipians 4:13).

Each of us has the priviledge of boldly declaring, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We can rely on Him because of HIS strength, HIS power, HIS ability.  All we have to do is to rely upon Him, knowing that whatever He gives you do, you can do through Jesus. God will make provision for your assignment and you will complete it with His assistance and determination. Just do it.

"Working While We're Waiting"

Waiting can be a tedious process. No one likes to wait. We are in a microwave society. To add further insult to injury, we also can be a microwave church. We desire things before we are ready without going through the process. If it's worth value, it requires patience so that we'll lack nothing. While we wait, we need to be working! Pray like it depends on God, work like it depends on you.

It may seem that we have lost because we may compare ourselves with others. Just because others obtain it, does not mean that God gave it to them. Success the right way is success God's way! Are we prepared to receive what we have been waiting for? Will we forget God when we receive what we have been waiting for? What is the purpose of what we have been waiting

In closing, waiting requires faith, spiritual tenacity, and a great attitude. He that shall come, will come. When he comes, will Jesus find your working while you're waiting?

Repentance without changed behavior is called sorry! Repentance means having a godly sorrow for your thoughts, words, and for your actions! Repentance means turning away from what you are engaged in and turning to God. Are you truly sorry for your actions or are you sorry for getting caught? The best apology is changed behavior! I can't hear what you're saying because I see what you do!

Instead of helping yourself, you should allow God to help you! If you're not serving God, you are helping yourself. Ultimately, there are only two positions in life: either you are on the throne of your own life and God is on the altar; or God is on the throne of your life and you are on the altar! The altar alters you for the glory of God! Are you sorrow for getting caught or do you realize that you need to change your lifestyle to be in righteous standing with the Almighty God!

We should be in a posture of repentance everyday. The Holy Spirit confronts, convicts, and conforms! If we don't possess the Holy Spirit, then we have no boundary marker to correct us. Without the Holy Spirit, we do what's right in our own eyes versus doing what's is right in the sight of God! As we grow, our appetite should change. Not only should we never do some things ever again, we should lose the desire to do them ever again! In closing, repentance is a lifestyle that should be synonymous with our actions. If our lifestyle is not congruent with our apology, it is called sorry. Remember, sorry is a sorry word!
